to walk or not to walk

I really wish that I could predict Vancouver weather. They (and by they, I mean those uber-skilled meteorologists) are calling for a 100% chance of rain today. Alright bucko, I get it, it's definitely going to rain today. But when?

I'd love to go for a long visit to Lord Stanley's park, perhaps from English Bay out to third beach and back, but I'd like to go when I'm not going to get caught in torrential rainfall on the seawall. Can we not track radars and dew points yet so that they can predict WHEN it will rain. The Weather Network can break down weather by hour but they are calling for showers every hour from 8am until 8pm. I've been up for three hours and have not seen a raindrop.

Ergo, I am inside. I spent an hour looking for jobs and another hour signing up on twitter... you can't keep me away from a technological development for long. whahahaha... http://twitter.com/crystaltobin

I did manage to get some awesome pictures of last night's sunset, and of bonnie's ugly half-naked guy neighbour but my battery is almost dead and I'm just not that motivated at the moment. These cheery blossoms need to skidaddle so that my allergies can chill out.

Maybe after my walk.
